Linux Mint Style Login
I just installed Linux Mint 8 Helena and after installing the NVIDIA drivers the login area was looking really bad.
As if you just installed the gnome desktop, the theme was very basic.
The fix to this problem is getting to the theme settings for the GDM, this command worked for me:gksudo -u gdm dbus-launch gnome-appearance-properties
